In most of the scenarios “Repair” has become one common troubleshooting to fix outlook related issues. But has anyone experienced Outlook 2016 Repair option grayed out under File -> account settings. If that is the case, You might be using Office2016 Pro Plus,Office365 Pro Plus version. I will soon be collecting all versions & update it. But Office/Outlook 2016 will not have repair option available for Exchange accounts, Probably we might get this option for Exchange 2016 with Outlook 2016.

How to repair Outlook 2016:

So that only way you can achieve is:

1. Control Panel
2. Programs & Features
3. Select Office Program
4. Click on “Repair”
5. This is online repair, So it should find if there are any issues related to updates or installation.

Note : Even though this repair doesn’t touch anything related to outlook data, it is recommended to take PST backup before performing repair.
